Safety Tips for Buying & Selling
- Don't do anything online that you wouldn't do in real life!
- Use common sense. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
- Clickrwanda encourages face-to-face, local trading — when you find an item you'd like to buy, ask to meet in person to see the item and exchange money in a safe public place.
- Learn more about the seller you're transacting with — check how long they've been active on the site and their reputation.
- If a local transaction is not possible, never send your item before receiving paymentand confirm that the money is reflected in your bank or Mobile Money account.
- Never provide your personal or banking information (e.g., credit card number, ID number) to others over the internet.
- In case of fraud or illegal activity, please contact us and report it to the Police.
